Chris Killer, MD

Chris Killer, M.D., joins the Emergency Medicine team serving at Conejos County Hospital for San Luis Valley Health. Dr. Killer’s chosen career focus has been emergency room and urgent care. He has demonstrated compassion for patients and has a reputation for reliable and dedicated work ethos as well as being an excellent communicator with patients. His medical residency was at LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies; the University of Western Ontario; and the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia. Chris and his wife moved to the San Luis Valley from Hobbs, New Mexico and have three grown children. They enjoy traveling, hiking, and all outdoor activities with their two dogs.
