Dr. Craig Hankins received his undergraduate degree at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, then attended medical school at the University of Virginia at Charlottesville. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and Arthroscopic Surgery Fellowship at Orthopedic Research Virginia in Richmond. After 25 years of private practice in Daytona Beach, FL he now provides orthopedic coverage at San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. His orthopedic practice includes trauma/fracture care, arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries, hand surgery, and general non-spinal orthopedics.

He and his wife Sharon have 4 children aging from 28-32 years old. His outside interests include downhill skiing, hiking, fly fishing, and more.
