Elisa received her undergraduate degree from Western State Colorado University with a degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry, where she also competitively ran for the cross country and track teams. As an undergrad, she was part of the Thornton research project that did genetic recombination as well as research for Spine Colorado and Durango Orthopedic where she published her first paper with Dr. Youssef on Minimally Invasive Surgical Treatment of Adjacent- Segment Pathology: Hybrid Techniques. Elisa attended University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA where she received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Elisa is a native of Mancos, Colorado. She enjoys running, hiking, biking and skiing. Elisa will be an Acute Care Provider, offering care for patients who will receive active but short-term treatments for severe injuries or episodes of illness, have an urgent medical condition, or are recovering from surgery.
