Jonathan R. Roylance, MD,FACP

Jonathan R. Roylance, MD, FACP, from Longmont, Colorado, has joined SLV Health’s Primary Care Team at Stuart Avenue Clinic in Alamosa.  Dr. Roylance received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his MD from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico.  He graduated first in class from New York Medical College in the Fifth Pathway Program and completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Yale University at Bridgeport Hospital. 

Dr. Roylance is fluent in Spanish, has a wide variety of experience in the hospital setting, in clinics, teaching, and as a leader.  Practicing since 2002, he embraces the opportunity to care for complex patients in the setting of the San Luis Valley, and he has extraordinary empathy for patients since he himself has worked through his own medical challenges.

In his free time, Dr. Roylance loves the outdoors, especially skiing and hiking. He and his wife have seven children, with only a few still in their home. The Primary Care team welcomes Dr. Roylance to Stuart Avenue Clinic, which can be reached by calling 719-589-8082.
