Amy Robertson, MD

Dr. Amy Robertson, Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecologist, practices in the Women’s Health Clinic in the Regional Medical Center for San Luis Valley Health.

A native of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Robertson completed her Residency at the Oklahoma University Health Science Center in Oklahoma City.  Prior to that, Dr. Robertson spent eight years at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill as she completed undergraduate and medical school studies.

“I could not be more excited to call the San Luis Valley home,” said Dr. Robertson.  “My family has been vacationing in the San Juan Mountains since I was a child, and I love the outdoors.  My parents and my sister now also call the SLV their home.”

Dr. Robertson chose to specialize in Women’s Health because she enjoys the continuity of care, being able to treat patients from adolescence to postmenopausal years.  She also appreciates the opportunity to provide an entire scope of care, from being a woman’s primary care physician to her surgeon as well.  She will also bolster the outreach efforts that the Women’s Health clinic has undertaken in Del Norte, La Jara, and Monte Vista.

Dr. Robertson specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures and also specializes in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.  She is also proficient in Spanish.
