Bailey Buhr, PA-C

Bailey Buhr, PA, joins the San Luis Valley Health’s Primary Care Team at Stuart Avenue in Alamosa. With a keen sense of learning and research, Bailey brings an intelligent, interested, enthusiastic approach to providing healthcare.

Bailey is an Alamosa High School graduate, and the SLV Health team welcomes her back home.

She graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver, in the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program at the Anschutz School of Medicine. She is an alumnus of Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction. Bailey completed several of her rotations in the SLV and worked as a Medical Assistant with Dr. Martin Sowards at Rock Creek Medicine prior to staring PA school. She also gained experience volunteering in the Cancer Center at St. Mary’s Oncology Center in Grand Junction. Her other clinical rotations included Integrated Dermatology in Montrose, University of Colorado Hospital, and Rose Outpatient Medical Center, among several others.

When she isn’t practicing medicine, she loves spending time with family and friends, especially enjoying the beautiful outdoors in the San Luis Valley. One of her favorite outdoor activities is paddleboarding and she hopes to spend more time camping now that she’s home!
