Christina Paul, APRN,MSN,FNP-C
Christina Paul, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in cardiology and electrophysiology and a passion for helping patients improve their heart health and overall quality of life. Her healthcare career began in 2008 when she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), followed by earning her Registered Nurse (RN) license in 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degrees through South University.
Throughout her career, Christina has gained extensive experience in cardiovascular and electrophysiology care, including working with patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and implanted cardiac devices in both Puerto Rico and Florida. She is particularly passionate about caring for patients with heart failure and educating individuals on lifestyle changes that can improve long-term health outcomes.
Christina's approach to patient care is rooted in honesty, compassion, and the belief in treating others the way she would want to be treated. She values building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes trust is established by being genuine, relatable, and attentive to each person's unique needs. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is knowing she can make a positive difference in someone's life and help them find hope for the future.
Originally drawn to healthcare after witnessing the exceptional care nurses provided to her grandfather during hospice, Christina discovered a calling that changed the course of her life. While she once considered a career in law and worked in her family's construction business, the compassion and impact of nursing inspired her to pursue patient care instead.
Christina recently relocated to the San Luis Valley to be closer to family in Creede and is excited for the opportunity to live and practice in Colorado. She is committed to serving the healthcare needs of the Valley and helping provide high-quality, compassionate care to the community.
When she's not caring for patients, Christina enjoys spending time in the mountains with her partner, Rory, and their two dogs, Zeus, a Siberian Husky, and Parker, an Australian Shepherd. She enjoys fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers, and is a devoted fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter, and classic 1980s movies.
