Gina Stephens, MSN, FNP-BC, provides comprehensive pediatric care for children and adolescents from birth through early adulthood at SLV Health’s Pediatrics Clinic. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence based care that keeps each child and family at the center of every decision.
A registered nurse since 2003, Gina brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to her role as a family nurse practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky, graduating summa cum laude. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Denver, where her commencement speech was published in the Journal for Specialists in Pediatric Nursing. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Gina has advanced training and special interests in pediatric asthma, autism, ADHD, and the care of neurodiverse children. She is passionate about providing individualized care that recognizes the unique needs of every child and family. Through shared decision making, Gina partners closely with families to develop personalized care plans that reflect each child's medical needs, developmental differences, family values, and lifestyle.
She believes the best outcomes occur when families feel heard, informed, supported, and actively involved in their child’s healthcare journey. Her goal is to build lasting relationships with patients and families while helping children thrive at every stage of development.
