She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them solve problems, “I like to listen, I like to hear, and get people to confide in me,” she said of her work, “I may be the expert in medicine, but the patient is the expert in their life, so let’s work together”. She is excited to work for a rural community, and SLV Health was the perfect fit. She is excited to practice in a rural community, saying “I’m excited to get to know the area, the people. I’ve enjoyed meeting the other providers and staff and getting involved in the organization.” When not at work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors. She loves hiking and is an amateur photographer, she is especially excited about doing wildlife and landscape photography in the San Luis Valley. She is also extremely interested in genealogy and diving into family histories in her spare time. We’re incredibly excited to have her as part of the Occupational Medicine team!
