Crawford Advances to State Nightingale Event

Congratulations to San Luis Valley Valley registered nurses who were honored at the 16th San Luis Valley Nightingale Dinner on Feb. 21, at Adams State University. Five out of the ten nominees work at SLV Health and are pictured above. L to R: Reina Chacon, Nicole Sandoval, Samantha Crawford, Amy Oaks, and Julia Bryant. Other nominees were Justine Bitler, Tammy Garcia, Alyssa O'Brien, Trudy Ruybal, and Bev Strnad. They were recognized for their commitment to their patients and providing excellent nursing care. The dinner was attended by family members and co-workers. Bitler, Crawford, and Ruybal were selected as luminaries for the state-wide event on May 9 in Denver. Thanks to SLV Health, Rio Grande Hospital, SLV Area Health Education Center, Valley-Wide Health Systems and SLV Federal Bank for the many generous donations that made this event possible.
