Daniel Sours, FNP-C

Daniel Sours has served as a nurse practitioner in urology at San Luis Valley Health since January 2022. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver.

Daniel’s career at San Luis Valley Health began in 2004, when he started as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A San Luis Valley native and Antonito High School graduate, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Adams State University in 2013. Throughout his career, Daniel has gained broad clinical experience caring for patients at San Luis Valley Health in Alamosa, Conejos County Hospital in La Jara, and St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, where he worked with intensive care patients. He also served as a Unit-Based Educator in the ICU at San Luis Valley Health.

Daniel pursued his nurse practitioner degree to further his education and expand his ability to serve the community he calls home.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
