Bethany Caton, ACNP-C
Bethany graduated with her Master of Science Degree Nursing, Adult/Gerontology Acute Care/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo. She started her education with an associate of arts from Adams State, followed by an associate in nursing from Pikes Peak, and then a bachelor of science (BSN) in nursing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Bethany joins fellow Nurse Practitioners Tiffanie Hoover and Patrick Cummings in these key roles as hospitalists. SLV Health has built a strong multidisciplinary team with the addition of Caton. Collaboration as a healthcare team is crucial for positive outcomes. Adding nurse practitioners and physician assistants to the hospitalist teams allows for physicians to manage more patients
When Bethany isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys the rural lifestyle and grew up in northern Colorado. She added, “I appreciate SLV Health and its support for nursing and the advancement of nursing. Nurse practitioners are valuable assets, especially in a rural setting where physician numbers can be low and healthcare providers are needed."
In addition to being a Hospitalist, Bethany provides part-time services in primary care at the La Jara Clinic.
