Melissa Voutsalath, DO
Dr. Melissa Voutsalath (pronounced VOOT-sah-la), is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who practices with an emphasis in Dermatology. Dr. Voutsalath received her doctorate at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery.
She completed a two-year research fellowship in Cutaneous Surgery and Oncology at the University of Michigan. She completed the family medicine residency at the University of Nebraska.
She has spent time in various dermatology clinics across the country during training. She previously worked at UC Health in Colorado Springs/Monument then relocated to the Valley, where she provides care to patients of all ages at San Luis Valley Health. She provides care in both the Alamosa Stuart Avenue and Monte Vista clinics.
In her free time, Dr. Voutsalath enjoys partaking in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and paddle boarding and enjoys traveling and spending time with her two boys.
