SLVH Donates Ballistic Vests to EMS

Kelly Gallegos, CCH Administrator for SLVH, was proud to represent San Luis Valley Health’s leadership in a donation of 6 ballistic plate carriers (ballistic vests) for the Conejos County Emergency Management Services (EMS) ambulance crew members. The Alamosa ambulance crew received updated vests through the financing from a Colorado fund, which helped update the vests worn by the Alamosa ambulance crew members. These collaborative efforts improve the safety for first responders!
