Years of Service Celebration: 880 Years of Compassion

San Luis Valley Celebrates 75 Dedicated Employees
On the evening of October 29, San Luis Valley Health celebrated a remarkable milestone: 880 combined years of service from seventy-five exceptional employees. The event, held in the hospital lobby, honored staff marking 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of dedication to the SLV Health mission.
The evening was filled with heartfelt appreciation and a strong sense of community as administrators, colleagues, families gathered to recognize the honorees' contributions.

Mr. Antonio Gurule, SLV Health Administrator, opened the celebration with an inspiring message. "Today, we gather to celebrate something truly extraordinary, not just numbers on a page, but a legacy of commitment, compassion, and excellence," Gurule said. "These employees have exhibited 880 years of compassion, 880 years of skill, patience, and perseverance, 880 years of early mornings and late nights, of teamwork, healing hands, and listening ears."

Carissa Tripi, DO gave a heartwarming speech about each of our employees accepting these awards.
Carissa Tripi, DO added, "You're the reason SLV Health isn't just a hospital, it's a home." During her speech, she thanked each employee by name and highlighted how they have contributed individually with making our hospital a premier and patient-centered healthcare system.
Karla Hardesty, PhD, the President of the Board of Trustees, also shared words of gratitude, emphasizing the impact of every team member. "Because of you, we are able to achieve our mission and our vision."
