Neurology

You Don’t Have to Travel Far for High-Quality Neurology Services

The nervous system is one of the most complex and important systems in the body. It is responsible for sending signals to and from your brain, and allows you to feel sensations, control your limbs, and more.

When something goes wrong with the nervous system, you need help from someone who has a thorough understanding of the nervous system—a neurologists. There are hundreds of neurological disorders and conditions, and they can create a wide-range of symptoms. It’s not always easy to tell if a neurological condition is responsible for the pain or difficulties you are experiencing, but there are some common symptoms that frequently point to a neurological disorder being the cause.

Common symptoms of a neurological disorder may include:

  • Frequent headaches and migraines
  • Chronic pains accompanied with numb, tingling feelings
  • Seizures
  • Difficulties with memories
  • Dizzy spells and feelings of lightheadedness
  • Muscle weakness
  • Coordination problems
  • Difficulty sleeping

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you should ask your primary care provider for a referral to a neurologist. Neurologists have diagnostic tools and training that makes them the best choice for diagnosing neurological disorders.
